Step 3: Then click on 'Pay and Schedule Appointment' option from the given options.
Step 4: Finally, choose the mode of payment from the two provided, ie. Online payment and challan payment.
Note: If payment is made for Tatkal appointment, the online fee will be the same as the regular passport fee. The balance amount is to be paid at the PSK on the date of appointment. The payment can also be made online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or SBI Bank Challan.
It must be noted that once the fee is successfully paid after verification, the applicant can "Track Payment Status" on the website. A follow-up email is also delivered.
- Then take the challan to the SBI branch and pay the required amount in cash. And keep in mind that this can be done only after 3 hours of the generation of the challan, which will be valid for 85 days.
- After that, get a copy of the challan from the receiving bank personnel.
- Bank takes 2 days to verify the ARN details given on the challan.
